About Me

Hey friends! My name is Jose and I’m a photographer based in the Sacramento, CA.

Back in 2015 I first picked up a camera as a way to document my travels and share my experience with friends/family. At the time I had no idea that this hobby would turn into an obsession with telling stories and capturing moments.

In 2016 I moved to Yosemite for a season and then in 2017 I dropped out of school, bought a van and traveled full-time the rest of that year.

Once home I took a construction job for “3 months” while I figured out what to do with my life. As you can imagine 3 months flew by and one day I woke 3 years later and said "I’m done”.

Today I’m freelancing full-time, camping as much as I can, and eating pizza whenever I don’t feel like cooking dinner which I’m not ashamed to share is at least once a week.
